Despite the rains and kinda sneaky shots (we didn't know whether we needed
a permit to shoot or not), we were able to take the usual lovey-dovey shots
along scenic spots in Eastwood City...


...BUT

I think the best ones are those that we took in their condo...

Season 2

Season 2 begins will begin with Karla and Ed's prenup. Their prenup reminded of the first prenup featured in Season 1, Shelley's Denim-Inspired prenup. You will see some similarities and yet some new stuff with Karla's version.

Ia, Jenny & Thessa - Photo Video Downloads

I have just finished creating the downloadable photo video versions of Ia, Jenny and Thessa. I was hoping that the photo slideshow version would be a better and faster alternative but it doesn't seem to work that well with slower connections.

I will also put in these links in each of their previous entries for easier reference.

Now I can continue with my next feature presentation... :)

Ia and Peter - The Right Values, The Right Reasons

Remember Ia and Peter? A part of their wedding budget was allocated to their favorite charitable institution where they also had their prenup.

Although Ia grew up with her "Tito" and Tita, she blossomed into a girl with the right values and an optimistic attitude in life. She has a comic character in her, and I am sometimes reminded of Ruffa Mae Quinto w/ her looks and antics on her special day.



LOST TIME - A MOTHER'S WISH, A MOTHER'S LOVE

She was in tears looking at her daughter who is now a grown woman about to get married...



What is in her heart? What is in her thoughts? I can only assume that it's about sacrifices made, a wish to bring back lost time and a sense of pride that this is her daughter...and she turned out well.



Ia tries to cheer up mom...



Although she herself was close to tears



... for a different reason, for a different kind of love that Peter has to offer.



During the reception, mother is always nearby...

at their first dance,



when they gave thanks,



and during the interview at the end of a very tiring but exciting day,



Mother is just nearby... tired... sleepy...



but at peace knowing that her daughter has a bright future,
and a husband she can lean on...



Ia herself just left the Philippines to join Peter in Malaysia where she is now living a new life...a wife to her husband and somewhere in the near future, a loving mother to their children.

Season Ender

I consider Ia & Peter's slideshow to be my season finale for 2005-2006. My wedding year starts on September and ends on August of the next year.

So for Season 06 we started w/ Shelley and will end w/ Ia.

September should also be the time for me to:

a) do more R&D

b) re-evaluate my vision as well as operations

c) take a much needed break (since I have been trying to finish all backlogs during the low season of July to August)

d) still do other feature articles like my US trip and probably a remake of Mike's Indian wedding (if there is still time).

e) start my FAQs - one entry would be the number of weddings I wish to do in a year, I am just targeting 20-30 so that I can give each client the best personalized service that I can give them. I don't intend to become a wedding factory. I also need a balanced lifestyle for my own good health and for the health of my family.

The Smoking Bride

Just one of the many photos I took together w/ Dino Lara, Edwin Tuyay and my batchmates in WPPP: Henry of Koolpix, Anthony of East Digital, Derek of RedFox and Elmer who is based in Batangas. Elmer was the one who organized this small getogether and bonding of some WPPP members.

The model was actually taking a yosi break before the next photo session. Although not a real bride, I am posting this blog to give some of the real smoking brides an idea of how they can relieve the stress of the day and still have a great time w/ their photo shoot!

Jenny & Ariel - Love is Here to Stay

Ariel had done everything to give Jenny her dream wedding. During his interview, you can see through his eyes how much he loves Jenny. All he truly wants is to make her happy.


They preferred candid shots with and some simple, classic formals.

The Tarp of Tza - Another Feature Bride

Jasmine of Studio Blush texted me yesterday to inform me that Tza's her tarpaulin model for this weekend's Wedding Expo. I went there this afternoon and saw her booth.

Thessa & Jay - These Words

Thessa looks, acts and feels like a ballerina, so graceful and elegant. She's so smooth that she almost floats in the air w/ her invisible wings.


Jay is very lucky, not only for having Thessa but because on their wedding day, an entire section of Roxas Blvd. was closed to traffic. He aptly requested permission from the traffic enforcers if our team can enter the area for pictorials....and they agreed!
