Babylove & Theo - A New Day Has Come

Babylove and Theo live in Germany but I had a chance to meet them previously in Cebu where they had their prenup prior to their wedding here in Manila.
Theo came with her mother, and they are the most fun-loving, down-to-earth and jolly Germans that I have ever met. Babylove is really lucky to have such a new family in her life.

Osman, Babylove's brother, is based here in Manila and speaks fluent German. He is always ready to assist her sister in all her needs. At first I thought Osman was a German sounding name until I learned where the name was derived from - Manila Hospital where he was born. I think Osman was meant to live in Germany.

Babylove, Theo and their son JC are now back in Germany. Cheers!

Baby Loves Fanny

[I am in the process of creating BabyLove's album and would like to make this my BOW (blog of the week).]

It was my first time to shoot a wedding w/ Fanny Serrano as the make-up artist. "Tita" Fanny is really the best that I have seen when it comes to transforming an already good looking bride like BabyLove into a diva.

Here are some pics from from the album-in-the-making, a combination of photojourn and glamour photography.

A special entry for wives who used to be brides

Most of you probably know Gwen from her Candon, Ilocos Sur wedding to Nic, which remains to be one of the most popular weddings viewed from my site.
Since I don't have a section in my main site for previous brides to post their comments, I am creating this entry especially for Gwen as well as other brides wishing to post a comment regarding their wedding.

Mary & Bobby - In This Very Room

Mary & Bobby chose a very private and scenic spot in Tagaytay to celebrate their wedding. They are very dedicated and committed to their church, so much so that even up to now, they haven't had the time to get their photos from me. They are churchmates of Eloise & Rod (The Tunnel of Love), and I hope they can find some time to watch this photo video as well as see some of selected photos presented in this blog.

I selected a Christian song that I thought would be most appropriate to present Mary's wedding.

Data Tarp - Another Feature Bride

A few weeks ago Data also informed me that her bridal gown supplier, Lya Armovit of Ready To Wed made her photo into a tarpaulin and used it at a bridal fair. The tarp is now at the frontdoor of Lya's shop.

Lya and I seem to have very similar slogans and when I asked Data, she told me that Lya had that slogan way back when she began her ready to wed line.... I guess we just have the same wave length and that's good to know if your suppliers are such.

A New Look

I previously thought that most of my clients and clients-to-be go to my main site first before landing in this blog site, this was until Shelley informed me that she usually goes direct to my blog site and was surprised to see the new look of my main site.

So this is to formally inform everyone of the new look. I actually tried to post an entry during the first day of the relaunch but simply couldn't find the right words to announce this. Now I think I have a good reason to do so. :)

P.S. Why the wedding wine glasses on my site's frontpage? (c/o Chie - more of her US bridal accessories shoot on a future blog entry). Most of my favorite photos carry some deeper meaning (sometimes personal to the client, sometimes personal from my perspective), but such style was not derived from Da Vinci and his codes hehe

Shelley - Themed Wedding Feature, Manila Bulletin

Shelley emailed me this morning to inform me that her wedding was chosen as one of the features in About Weddings, Manila Bulletin this Saturday, Aug 5.
The topic will be about themed weddings.
Shelley was one of my first w@wie brides last year and it's really gratifying to know that my clientele w/ their own unique styles and vision gets recognized and appreciated by the public!

It's almost a year now since Shelley's wedding but things are still hot hot hot!

From what other brides tell me, Shelley (Denim-Inspired), Riza (Andy Maluche Style) and Jane (Kulitan sa Ulan) are their reference and inspiration for unique prenups also. Will you be the next supermodel...I mean next feature bride?

A toast to all you My Style wedding brides!
