Ia and Peter - The Right Values, The Right Reasons
Remember Ia and Peter? A part of their wedding budget was allocated to their favorite charitable institution where they also had their prenup.
Although Ia grew up with her "Tito" and Tita, she blossomed into a girl with the right values and an optimistic attitude in life. She has a comic character in her, and I am sometimes reminded of Ruffa Mae Quinto w/ her looks and antics on her special day.

LOST TIME - A MOTHER'S WISH, A MOTHER'S LOVE
Ia's mother as she enters the hotel room
She was in tears looking at her daughter who is now a grown woman about to get married...

What is in her heart? What is in her thoughts? I can only assume that it's about sacrifices made, a wish to bring back lost time and a sense of pride that this is her daughter...and she turned out well.

Ia tries to cheer up mom...

Although she herself was close to tears

... for a different reason, for a different kind of love that Peter has to offer.

During the reception, mother is always nearby...
at their first dance,

when they gave thanks,

and during the interview at the end of a very tiring but exciting day,

Mother is just nearby... tired... sleepy...

but at peace knowing that her daughter has a bright future,
and a husband she can lean on...

Ia herself just left the Philippines to join Peter in Malaysia where she is now living a new life...a wife to her husband and somewhere in the near future, a loving mother to their children.
Let Ia tell you her story as she reminisce what happened on her wedding day.

Rene-
Fantastic blog. Spent a long time reading thru it, even your previous months' archives.
Just managed to download our photo avp, but I need to use a download manager (DAP). Somehow the link opens a new window, but the download won't start.
It's a lovely avp (and I'm not being bias). Whenever we played it for our friends, everyone just walks away singing "...put your head on my shoulder..." haha LSS.
Carry on with your great work!
Peter
Hi Peter,
Thanks for surfing my blog!
I've also taken out the new window feature for downloads, hope this eases the downloading process for those w/o DAP.
Now Ia can watch the downloaded version there in Malaysia anytime she wants to.
The song is really sticky. Glad your friends enjoyed it also.
Many thanks and more power!
